What does it treat?

What are the benefits?
The treatment is custom tailored to your needs. There’s minimal downtime and discomfort. The non-ablative laser therapy is safe for all skin types.
How does it work?
Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments use micro-channeling to safely deliver heat (via Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. The body responds to these superficial wounds with it’s natural healing process — repairing visible signs of skin damage. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
Venus Viva also works to reduce wrinkles and smooth skin by application of advanced radio frequency technology. It improves the appearance of loose skin by heating the deep level of skin collagen, causing it to tighten. As collagen growth is stimulated with this skin tightening treatment, you will see firmer skin over time.
How many treatments will I need?
For successful, long term outcome we recommend 1-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This allows for a proper healing and remodeling process.
Ultimately, the number of treatments required will vary patient to patient and will be assessed during your consultation. The treatment price will be based on the treatment surface area and number of treatments required. It will be tailored to meet your specific needs.
How long will my treatment last?
Most treatments are scheduled for 30-45 minutes based on the treatment surface area. A numbing cream will be applied for 10-15 min prior to a treatment to insure your comfort during the procedure.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the treatment?
Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any skin care, make up, self tanning lotion, and avoid tanning before your treatment session. Remove jewelry around the area being treated.
Is there any downtime?
A mild sunburn sensation, redness and dryness is expected for 24-48 hours post treatment. Most patients will return to their daily routine 24 hours following the treatment.
How long will the results last and are they permanent?
After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve. However, a maintenance treatment is recommended every 6-12 months.
