Key benefits
Forma and Forma Plus are both InMode radiofrequency (RF) treatments that tighten skin and stimulate collagen by delivering a warm, deep heat to the skin’s layers. Forma is designed for smaller areas of the face and neck, while Forma Plus treats larger body areas like the arms, abdomen, knees, and thighs. The primary difference is the handpiece and the area of the body it’s designed to treat. Forma is a skin and tissue remodeling technology with a subdermal heating applicator. Radiofrequency travels via electrodes to deliver a non-invasive and pain-free treatment, allowing the device to reach optimal temperatures. Â
Forma Plus
Purpose: To lift and tighten larger areas of lax, sagging skin on the body.
Target areas: Arms, abdomen, thighs, knees and buttocks.
Forma Plus uses InMode’s bipolar RF technology to heat the deep layers of the skin, stimulating new collagen production and improving skin elasticity and firmness. It is a non-invasive treatment with no downtime and no recovery period. The experience is pleasant and similar to a hot stone massage.
The skin depends on collagen and elastin to remain tight on our face and body. Collagen is the main structural protein, the building block of the skin. Elastin is an extracellular matrix protein that gives elasticity and resilience to the skin. Collagen and elastin are found in the deeper layer of the skin called the dermis, which is located right above the fatty layer beneath the skin. As we age, the production of collagen and elastin slows down, resulting in skin laxity. FORMA heats the skin of the targeted area to comfortably tighten sagging, wrinkled skin by rebuilding collagen. It is a non-invasive temperature-controlled radio-frequency system that will fight skin laxity and help you achieve supple, tighter-looking skin. We recommend 6-8 treatments spaced out 1-2 weeks apart. The results last about one year. A maintenance treatment every 1 to 3 months will prolong your initial results. The hand piece will gently glide over the targeted areas, heating your skin and the tissues below the surface of the skin. Important Safety Considerations: FORMA radio-frequency should not be used on patients who are pregnant, have an active skin infection in or around the area of application.
Treatment Schedule
One session a week for 6-8 weeks.
Treatment Duration
Full face: 45 min

Avoid sun and self-tanning lotions for 7-10 days. Discontinue the use of Retinol, acid-based skin care, and other skin irritants for 3-5 days before your treatment. Arrive at your treatment free of any skin care or makeup. For body treatments, make sure the area is shaved when/if appropriate, and remove body piercings.
After your treatment
Expect transient erythema (mild redness) for a few hours. Skin cooling should be avoided. Moisturizer has to be applied and maintained. Make-up can be applied immediately if needed.
