What does it treat and what are the benefits?
It treats side effects of aging and environmental exposure: Pigment, Textural Irregularities, Enlarged Pores, Skin Tone, Wrinkles, Acne Scars and Stretch Marks. The treatment is custom tailored to your needs. There’s minimal downtime and discomfort. The non-ablative laser therapy is safe for all skin types.
How does it work?
Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments use micro-channeling to safely deliver heat (via Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. The body responds to these superficial wounds with it’s natural healing process — repairing visible signs of skin damage. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
Venus Viva also works to reduce wrinkles and smooth skin by application of advanced radio frequency technology. It improves the appearance of loose skin by heating the deep level of skin collagen, causing it to tighten. As collagen growth is stimulated with this skin tightening treatment, you will see firmer skin over time.
Is there any downtime? Some will experience a mild sunburn sensation and redness post treatment, which will generally subside within 24-48 hours. With minimal downtime, most will be able to return to daily activities following the treatment.
How long with the results last and are they permanent? After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve. However, one touch-up session may be needed approximately every 6 months, depending on how your skin responds.

Are the products safe? What are the risks?
Licensed ArqueDerma® Practitioners use the FDA market-approved dermal fillers that have gone through the rigorous FDA approval, and have been used every day in clinics throughout the world since 1996. The single, most important difference is in how they are administered. Only Licensed ArqueDerma® Practitioners are licensed to use this revolutionary technique. There are no additional risks when administering Arque Derma® techniques when compared to conventional methods of injecting these dermal fillers.
Can I expect the same results as I would get with facelift surgery? Will I be able to avoid the windblown, pulled back, puffy cheek look that I see so often?
Unlike conventional dermal filler methods that ‘fill up’ areas, the beauty of the ArqueDerma® technique is that it targets the structural support of the face, ‘reaching in’ to bring sunken volume to its original position. We use your own volume, and redirect it, supporting the face structurally (like the frame-work supports a building) ArqueDerma® works at the structural level; providing a result that is more natural than conventional aesthetic procedures and facelifts.
Can ArqueDerma® prevent the signs of aging? Can I avoid facelift surgery altogether?
After the age of 30 both men and women lose approximately 1% of collagen per year. The loss of this vital component to a youthful appearance quickly leaves its mark – especially if nothing is done to replace it. Because the ArqueDerma® technique actually stimulates collagen production, we encourage patients to utilize it as a preventative measure, as well as a targeted, natural looking facelift. We have found that ArqueDerma® has been instrumental in allowing patients to delay surgery for years, and sometimes decades, while others can avoid facelift surgery altogether.
Will it hurt? Will I be swollen? How long will it take? How much time do I need to allot for avoiding people?
The ArqueDerma® technique is no more uncomfortable than conventional injecting methods. Many patients feel a slight tugging upward during the injection and are actually pleased that they are feeling the ‘lift’ that they so desperately want, so any ‘un-comfortableness’ is considered worth it. Because the technique is dynamic to the tissue, there may be a bit of bruising depending on your body’s response. Yet, this aspect is essential to stimulating collagen production making the technique longer-lasting and sustainable. These possible after-effects can be easily camouflaged with a good concealer. Many patients show little or no such signs and go on about their day as usual. Social downtime: the amount of time that you need to feel comfortable in social situations will depend on your body’s response to the technique, how quickly it heals, and how comfortable you are in social situations using concealer and simple makeup tricks.
How long will the procedure take and How long will the results last?
This depends on the desired goal, how much product is used, and how much time is spent with the practitioner discussing your enhanced ‘look’. If you have not used dermal fillers before, your first session may take more product and time depending on your age, skin damage, and your desired enhancement.
Dermal filler treatments will vary from patient to patient, as well as product to product. With the ArqueDerma® technique, there is an additional benefit of increased collagen stimulation, which means the results have been shown to last longer than conventional methods of filling.
Will the results be noticeable?

Q: How much downtime is required after hand rejuvenation?A: There is practically no downtime! Most people can return to normal daily activities right after their treatment session.
Q: Is it painful? A:Surprisingly, NO. Sculptra is mixed with lidocaine and we apply a topical numbing agent to the skin prior to injection to prevent the patient from experiencing discomfort, you won’t feel much past first nick.
Q: Are there side effects to Sculptra?A: All dermal fillers may cause slight bruising, redness, swelling, itching, or tenderness after the injection. In most patients, though, these side effects do not last more than just a few days.
